trying to decide if i want to watch or not... not because i don't think they can do it (win,) but because i have things to do...
i will be watching too, can't resist. :hihi: 0-6 in the SEC for the first time since the 60s.... wow, didn't think it was quite that awful.
Let's look on the bright side... Next year will be a dramatic improvement. And yes, as a Saint's fan, I know that "next year" does come. Only, it can take a lot longer than expected. PS: Anyone out there remember John Gilliam run back the first ever kick-off to the Saints for a TD. Oh, how we thought that first year's Saints team was going to be great.
I know these guys are giving it their all but this might be the worst lsu basketball team I have ever seen.
mitchell has 16 of LSU'S 21 points.... we need more scorers... state is outplaying LSU by a mile and we're only down by 8. 29-21 with 16:16 in the second half... 33-21, oh well... 37-21..
I am actually catching it here in North Carolina on some random channel called United Sports (US). Never heard of the station before, but this is the second LSU game broadcasted this week. Unfortunately, our team just sucks this year. No offense whatsoever. I have confidence that CTJ knows what he is doing, is building for the future, and this year will just be one giant growing pain that everyone has to endure. Like you guys, can't help but watch though.
watching some of these young white guys play (not being racist) is hard. they're gamers, for sure, but they NEVER SHOOT! and when they do, it's usually a terrible shot. the last white guy that could shoot the ball for LSU was probably brian beshara back in, what was that, 99?
spoke too soon, wide open three by one of them... not sure which one, never saw him play before. edit - it was beattie.
