They should get the refund from where they bought them. Surely you don't expect LSU to refund twice for a ticket
How many of those folks that sold their tickets are going to call up the people that they sold then to and say, hey dude, LSU sent me some money, here's your money back.
Now THOSE were some good storms. Particularly Miami in '88... The game, not so much but that rain though.. jeez.
Not many. And for a game like McNeese there would have been tickets for sale at the stadium and if you paid in cash there would be no record of it.
Maybe there were fewer because everybody wanted to be there for the opening game. And it is an easy drive for McNeese fans. There will be lots more for sale for Eastern Michigan and Western Kentucky
I missed the '88 Miami game because I had been clubbing at Heartbreak the Thursday night prior, and my bad knee went out on me. I was at home in Livingston Parish chatting with a high school friend on the phone and gladly missing out on the epic beatdown and storm. I didn't miss the student section at all that night. I was at the '04 OSU game, three months pregnant with my younger daughter. When we walked out into the stadium that afternoon, it was as hot as the surface of hell out there. After the band played the national anthem, one lonely dark cloud covered the sun--making everyone happy. Within a minute, one large raindrop came out of said cloud. Thirty seconds later, all hell broke loose from that one cloud. But it cooled things off...
