Not expecting a win tonight, especially not after an extremely poor showing vs a bad UC Irvine team. However, if this team wants to do anything in the postseason, a win would do wonders for that come March. I was solid on the CTJ hire, but he seems to be nearly a clone of John Brady in that he preaches defense and rebounding but doesn't seem to have any idea of how to coach offensive basketball. Program promotion and personality are about on the same level as well. Please tell me how and why LSU wins tonight.
Bob Petite bobblehead night. LSU is undefeated on bobblehead night promotion nights. That is for any sport.
Marquette came out smoking, took a 13-0 lead. Tigers got the next 8, after some back and forth the score is LSU 12-16 after the 12 minute media timeout. Tigers are showing a lot of heart going after loose balls. LSU at the line to shoot 3
If you have no other way to follow it, WWL 1350 has the game: WWWL 1350AM 20-19 now. ESPN's version of live stats isn't bad: Marquette Golden Eagles vs. LSU Tigers - Play by Play - December 19, 2011 - ESPN
Sure didn't look good to start off, but LSU didn't even blink. We turned it over 4 times late, but at the half LSU is up 26-23 I'm hopeful!
Per @Tiger_Rag Other than #LSU holding MU to 28.6% shooting, the stat of the half: LSU leads Marquette in bench scoring, 15-1.
