1. Anyone who knows anything about bowl games know one thing, outside of Championship potential bowls, bowl games are NO way to base deductions on.

In addition, in our case, we're in the midst of firing and hiring the staff.

I'm glad the bowl game will afford us more practices, etc.
  2. Who plays and who "plays," yes. ;) If I'm Fournette I'm looking at getting healthy for the NFL combines. Course I guess a strong showing here would go a long way in that regard too.
  3. We played App St in 2008 at 10am as well.
    Hot damn that is early!
  4. Word is that Key is in, Beckwith out and Fournette uncertain.
  5. Disagree with you there. A bowl game shows you how well your coach can motivate and how well he can come up with a game plan if he has a lot of time.

  6. Agreed, this is the best bowl LSU has been in, in quite a few years. Louisville can play with anyone when focused and healthy. LSU will have come to play. Aranda will earn the big bucks. LSU must not miss out on opportunities when we have the ball.
  7. For an11AM game I'll need a Lortab
  8. Last year- Texas Bowl
year before that- Music City Bowl.

This is a step up. And you're playing against the Heisman frontrunner.
It's just too damn bad you have to start drinkin' at 5AM.

  10. By gameday Jackson won't be the frontrunner. He will be the Heisman winner
