My memory is terrible but seems like I remember a lot of pussies hurting on that one.

 

That was the point where a lot of fans were done with Miles. There were people who never liked him, then there were those that were on the fence early and after 07 were off and back on his side, then 08 back on the fence and that 09 Cap 1 Bowl he lost a lot of people.

I read somewhere that we didn't buy a lot of Citrus Bowl tickets either. Orgeron is the victim of Miles fatigue.

 

I saw it as an excuse to continue his "greatness" in the pro Miles crowd. I think that's what stuck with me and why I remembered when I don't remember our W/L record from year- to- year. They changed their narrative. Went from "Never lost an OOC game" to " Well, it's his only OOC loss."
