I said the same thing. I'll just write it off as first start jitters. AJ will get better once he gets comfortable.
I'm right and you know the truth still hurts. GP was not "my coach" he was my son's, and your accomplishments would include????? LSU still cashes my checks, how about yours???? BTW, Twisted Tiger has it figured out in the post just below yours.
You're right about what sport? The only thing that came close to "blowing" the game were the mistakes by Jennings on the INT and the KO return. Other than that Iowa wasn't in the same zip code. Your nose has been stuffed so far up GPs arse that you haven't seen daylight in years. Who cares if LSU cashes your checks your colors are anti Les and TCU.
Then you did not watch the same game I did. BTW, those 2 mistakes and a rather poor game plan for a freshman QB have the score tied until Hill saves the day. I guess I get to comment anyway I want.........check my avatar, by dafault you get the same "privilege". BTW, LSU wants the money.
Not really. Mett was the best QB we had this year. Wasn't too long in the game, an some were asking for Rivers........ 99% is a little too high.
Score wasn't tied after LSU scored the first TD sport. Check the line score Iowa got its second TD after LSU scored their 3rd. So maybe you're right we didn't watch the same game. Of course you can make any comment you want and you don't even have to give LSU money to do so. Don't know what your avatar (or mine) has to do with anything.
Mett had the same problem on many passes his first year as the starter, not trusting that the receivers would be open and where they are supposed to be when they came out of their breaks. Hopefully AJ will progress over the off season, spring and fall just like Mett did.
Im not expecting much in the way of a checkdown, just 3 step drop and get rid if its not there. Kinda self-preservation tactic, and yes Mett struggled even recently with that but I guess thats my point; it isnt consistent but not much is of late.
