Any idea when Harris comes back? Certainly showed flashes last year of being a pretty good player and should be an asset to this team.

On the post game show Ricky Blanton said he would be back for the game on the 11th. That will give him a few days to get into playiong shape before we start SEC ball.

I'm liking what I'm seeing. This team has come a long way sense that loss to Nicholls.

I just hope the fan base can get behind this team. It sucked Johnson's 1st season to see the PMAC 3/4's empty late in the season and a team on it's way to March Madness.

    True. True.

I think based upon paid attendance figures so far, LSU has hovered around 6700-6800 paid attendance (and actual attendance would be off of that i would guess). Not great, for a BCS school that prides itself on sports fans. But, it's not completely unexpected given the off year they had last year and the time of year. It's also a situation where the word about this team has to get out. I think by SEC time, let's hope we're back into that 10-11,000 range, and folks are actually coming to the games they paid for. If LSU is doing reasonably well, no reason why big SEC home games against Miss St, Florida and Vanderbilt aren't close to sell outs. Unfortunately, Kentucky is on the road this year. As we've seen, it takes a year or so to build up real attendance momentum. I think if the Tigers are back in post-season contention at the end of the season, with the recruiting/transfer class coming in, I would hope we see bigger jumps in attendance next year. It will certainly help if Trent can take out of conference scheduling up a notch as the Tigers grow up with this team.

In any case, this team is fun to watch and it will be very interesting late in the season, as they fill out that NCAA resume. That Feb 5-Mar 2 stretch against Arkansas, Florida, Miss, Miss St, Vanderbilt, Georgia will be a NCAA buster stretch. Although, let's not look ahead. :yelwink2:

A nice, loud crowd is good for 2-3 close wins a year.

I'm with you. My cousin and I are generally the only people in our section. I don't think there have ever been more than 20. Maybe it was a few more for the Xaivier game in 09. When I can't make the game it is generally hard to give the tickets away.
