Oh I agree 100% about his use of arms. He has pulled pitchers that were pitching great with low pitch counts since he got here. He knows waaaay more about baseball than I do, but I've seen that bite him in the ass numerous times. And the 3rd game starter has been a crap shot all season.
Agree with this and always thought the same about PM. Last night he just "over thought" what he needed to do with KB, which was NOTHING.............he will have all summer and fall to "practice" that technique. REALLY SAD PART..............A Nola never thought his game the other night was his last one.............to him, a HUGE thank you and all the luck in the world as he moves on!
Yeah but you also shouldn't let a pitcher throw 200 pitches in a weekend either. This isn't softball. Winning isn't everything.
Houston was the better team up and down. They simply were better coached and from too to bottom were much more talented.
Stoney Brooke part deaux.............this could be a trend based on his last few trips to the post season. Houston should not have been in this regional, they should have had their own.
We played Houston 3 times at our place. They won 2 out of 3. Sad to see us lose this one the way we did... having the 4-0 lead going into the 8th.
