Not true, though it is a false belief by many. The example I use is that if a person types too much it's not good. With softball pitching, it's relatively new but there's starting to be more info out about it. Rotator cuff surgery is very common for softball pitchers and the two contributing factors are: 1/ Improper mechanics and 2/ Overuse. I keep a pitch count on my pitchers and/or daughters, even on practices.
