Even with AUB's O, LSU stayed in contention the entire game. Bama's O is no where near that.... Yards, stats, just chunk them out the window come Saturday. Bama has a Heisman RB; another one that's Heisman caliber; and a QB who has only lost one game....ever. Oh, and he can pass and has at least one very good receiver- not familiar with the others. I wouldn't sell 'em out. With Auburn we were dam lucky the score didn't reflect the azz pounding we got. 440 yards rushing, setting a single game SEC record. I had flashbacks of S. Alexander and P. Hillis & CO.
A.) In that game Julio was completely shut down with around only 40 yards recieving utnil PP went out with cramps. Won't happen again this game. B.) Nice stats, but they don't tell the truth... Like how C.)Our first possession JJ ran past the 1st down marker and the ball was spotted very very short causing us to punt. D.)Doesn't show the two divot marks in the field where PP stole Julios lunch money and then given back to ya by the Nazi officiating crew. E.) Doesn't show the blatant spear into JJ, taking him out of the game. F.) Our starting RB who was tearing yall up on the ground, broke his collar bone on his what 30-40+ yard run, to not return. G.) Doesn't show the generous almost 6-7 yard yard spot (we were called for defensive off sides I beleive) on your 4th & 6 or so punt, where again the Nazis gave yall the ball 4th & inches allowing yall to go for it on 4th down. I could go on but the jist of the story is we beat ya 4 straight years prior to the '07 season, beat ya in tuscalooserville in '07, took yalls so called #1 team to OT in '08, and lost the worst officiated game i've seen in a long time in '09. Not bad for a so called inferior LSU huh? Face it, the NCAA wanted Bama in there last season, and gift wrapped several wins to ensure that'd happen. Show all the stats ya want, Bama is not head and shoulders better than everyone as apparent by yall almost losing to a freshman back up QB in the NC game... feel blessed the zebras were yalls 12th man most of last season and McCoy wasn't able to return otherwise yall still aint got **** the last 3 years but an Independence Bowl win. Congrats to yall. Your post, as well as 99% of the Bama fan base who sugar coat the truth with fancy smoke and mirros is why yall win the #1 annoying fan base in the nation.
Great post. Not necessarily for what you said, but rather the fire and passion in supporting our Tigers. Thats what I'm talkin about. Nice to see. That fire that passion of a unified fan base is what will play a huge factor in our keys to victory. If we can have 93000+ fans giving all they have to support our Tigers, Bama doesn't have a shot.
Hey guys, I have been lurking here over the past few days while taking in some of the thoughts and opinions of some of you guys in the LSU fanbase. I am an Alabama fan, and I will be attending this weekends game (first trip to Death Valley). I have seen a few fellow Bama fans post about how Alabama will roll over LSU this weekend, which is possible, but I just don't see it at this juncture. While I do hope for an Alabama win, what I expect is a very hard-fought entertaining game. The general sentiment amongst the Alabama fanbase around here is one of anxiousness and uncertainty, because it IS a big SEC matchup. Here's to a great injury-free game this weekend!

well said. i think you will have a blast this weekend. just don't get upset if you hear a little trash talk, but most, if you are a good sport about it, will invite you in for some grub and a brew. This has been a close series, even when you guys were down this past decade, you have kept it close, and when you were the obvious better team we have kept it close, and there really hasn't been a total one sided game since 03 when we beat you guys by 20 plus. However you spanked us the year before that, I think Shaun Alexander just rushed for another 100 yards on us. Great series, my favorite game of the year always. Good luck, and Geaux Tigers.
