Fair enough. I don’t either. In fact, I don’t need to read a yahoo article, USC board or anything else to know that Bama pays players. For over a decade, Alabama has consistently pulled in better recruits than any other program under the sun and it’s not even close.
Do you think the facts that they are perennial NC contenders & the fact that they have the GOAT coach coaching them plays a part in the recruits they get?
Absolutely. They make each other great. Very similar to Brady and Belichick. A big reason you call him the GOAT is because he has the best roster on the field every Saturday.
My problems with Oeaux are well documented. I didnt say you are an apologist for Oeaux. KikiDee watches a different game tha the rest of the world. But he sticks to his guns. Gotta respect that, imo. My crime is I want to Win. We have the money here. at LSU to do so. We do not seem to have the fortitude, however. I can see a 4-5 year, 8 win per season campaign by O, and by then LSU will be absolutely mediocre & we'll still have " "Fans" calling on 'Next year da year!' ...during the 2024 season.. Fucking ridiculous this dumb as a rock D- Line coach is driving LSU back to the Hallman era..
Watching this year, I am terrified we’re headed back to the Hallman era as well (a bunch of us are). But we can’t have too short of a memory. We had the greatest season in the history of the sport just last year. I too fear it was a one hit wonder (for Coach O) and also believe LSU should be competing for titles year in and year out. But right now, given what LSU did last year under Coach O and given the circumstances surrounding the season, it’s very hard to argue against giving him the chance to see if he can get us back.
LSU hasnt had a losing season since1994, Hallman's last year. Barring a miracle against Bama (severe Bama injuries or 4 ejections of Bama players) that exactly where we are. Watch & see, in 2-3 years no more hardware & no more playoffs. We are becoming 'That funny Cajun college, with great food", rather than a school that will kick your ass back to Oklahoma. "I never miss a Coach O Gumbofest!"
I'm not going to deny the fact that we are probably going to have a losing season. But we won the NC last year. I'm willing to cut O some slack & give O another year or two as long as he makes some staff changes. That and the fact that we can't afford his contract buyout.
You still think Oeaux had something to do with the Brady Offense. From 16 to 60 TDs..was that Ed Orgeron? Oeaux could have been eating a Winky Dinky Dog in the stands along with Esminger & the results from last year would have been exactly the same. We are seeing Oeauxball right now. Yes we can afford a buyout. LSU just does'nt have the balls. Those girls joking about their rapes at LSU? That is called "Fired for Cause". And that photo of O & the Ho? He is truly a dumbass. He kicked 4 QBs off the roster to get Burrow's Dad to deliver him to LSU, plus the promise of Starting. I guess he can get credit for that..
What did O do to get you so jacked up and have an intense hate for him? Did he refuse to take your phone call? Didn't answer an email? Don't like his accent? And why are you concerned with what he does in his private life?
