We have played 5 crappy teams, have won against 3 teams with what?...around 5-6 wins combining all 3 teams. We played 2 only decent teams, lost both. We have no running game at all. Our passing game is mostly 3 yard dump offs to WRs who should be going at least far enough to get to the 1st down sticks. We dont do that. Then how many yards are we giving up per game in passing? I haven’t heard any of them say this team is talented. I’ve heard one off remarks about a guy here or there. About Marshal, Stingley and some up and comers, but the overwhelming consensus was and has been that we suffered a mass exodus and we wouldn’t be anywhere close to what we were last year or a contender this year. I don’t live in BR so I don’t listen to the local guys. I do tune into SiriusXM both in the mornings and afternoons. Nobody was buying LSU this year, nobody.
I’m not arguing that we don’t suck. We do. We should never suck. I’m just saying, given the turnover from last year and the quality and inexperience of the 59 scholarship players we do have, I don’t see a chance in hell any coach has this team 7-0 especially starting a true freshman QB at Auburn and at A&M. That’s all I’m saying. We should however be 5-2 right now and not be a 30 point dog tomorrow. That’s on Coach O 100%. And every LSU fan is well within their right to be concerned. Doesn’t mean they have to be, just means it’s ok if they are. I am.
