Does a helluva job of development after getting them. You are delusional if you think Bama has to buy players. Bama can’t take anymore recruits than any other school. Your program should be on the same level year in and year out as Bama. Your mess is on O’s head. There are no black helicopters nor nefarious plots afoot.
This LSU team right now under Saban or Miles would be 7-0, at worst 6-1. Top 5 recruiting for Orgeron for 3 straight years...and were currently 3-5. Now we have 'very, very talented players' that don't know what to do.
That's not surprising. Nick recruits & signs the best and coaches 'em up the best. I think Stingley was the only Freshman we had start on last years team. Of course he could have started for anyone.
Why wasn't this a concern before the season? Are you satisfied with O's OL & DL recruiting in the 4 classes that he has brought in? RB? I agree. Sheeit...O bringing in a RB 205 lbs & 4.76 speed, slower than one or two WDE's he actually has committed for his 5th recruiting class. Memba before the season? "We might lose 2 games at the most" mantra?
I was concerned about the OL, RBs, LB & secondary other than Stingley. I wasn't in the camp that thought we might lose 2 games at the most. I think next year is the tell-tell year for O. He better get his sh*t together and make some changes on the coaching staff or I fear it's going to be another long season.

" Besides not spelling Flott correctly, this article is accurate on Stingley's drastic dropoff this season. But who knows, he could have a big game against Bama & that could spark a turnaround for him.
This current LSU roster would not be 7-0 under either Miles or Saban. I’m not giving O a pass for the shape our roster is in, it’s absolutely on him, but Saban is as good as the players on his roster. Ask Miami Dolphin fans.
