Not at all. I agree with your statement. But my comment stands nonetheless. Sadly, it does represent disdain. I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that 1. We look to be a fluke: from NatChampion to WhatWeAreThisSeason in one year. 2. I cannot recall any other NatChamp in my memory that has fallen through the basement in the next season as we have this year.
I can see your angle on it but only abstractly. To leave the starters in and put 70+ points on a respected adversary in your division is to show contempt. There is nothing to be gained by such actions.
The more I think about it, the more I realize that the coaching is that bad. Inexperience and injuries/opt outs are killing us too, but the coaches should’ve been able to get 6-4 out of this team no doubt.
