People are getting way ahead of themselves here. LSU has three reasonably tough games before this one. It reminds me of a few articles I read two seasons ago claiming that that Bama-Florida was the new SEC rivalry and would be the most important game each season.

I'm excited about the prospect of Bama and LSU being undefeated going in - but it's a month of SEC games away and anything could happen.

Well said. If this shows us anything, it's that the SEC is king. The gauntlet schedule that everyone talks about is for real. You can't overlook teams like Florida or Tennessee. If Brantley's back next week(don't know how likely that is), then we could have ourselves a good game. Usually the Florida game is a throw-out-the-records type of game. I love the publicity, and I see that it's coming from a non-fan, but these teams need to stay focused to remain undefeated the next few weeks.

This game is beginning to get closer to being overhyped. When I start hearing "game of the century" then I think we're heading in that direction. There is a TOO MUCH FOOTBALL yet to played before and after our November matchup to begin this type talk.
