You'd be surprised how much puss I get w/that "purse"/camera bag. Chicks dig it, lol, esp. when my son is w/me. I'm not satisfied w/struggling against teams we should beat. I just get sick of the entire game if things aren't going perfect for LSU, and we are not unloading on the other team, how negative everyone gets. I wish Miles kept his mits off of the offense, but he brings a lot of positives to our program. I wish he would get rid of Stud, but Chavis needs time w/this young defense.
No, I hear you, bro. I would have preferred we win this more convincingly, too. And, we should have. But go back and read this thread from beginning of second qtr on. So much negativity. This board is run w/negativity now. No more Red, and others who at least instill some reality.
For those of you who thought this was gonna be a dominating win I ask you have you been paying attention the last 8 years?
I am beginning to hate LSU "fans" worse than the gumps and gaytors I have to deal with. Realistic expectations don't exist in our purple and gold realm. By standards set on the internet board, Bama should have fired Saban after only beating Miss. St. by 13 last week. Sheesh! Enjoy our team and have some fun for a change!
This is the type of game LSU and Arky play. Throw out the damn records. Just saw this crazy stat -- Since 2005, other than the LSU blowout win in 2011, only 6 pts (now 10) separate the two teams. Plus, today, Arky does not want to go 0-8 in the SEC. This is their bowl game. And you also have a flat LSU team (not going to get into why and all that jazz). Bottom line is, these teams play close. I for one am happy this will no longer be the post -Thanksgiving game going forward. Time for a change.
I understand where you are coming from. But the reality is this team doesn't play up to it's talent level. It's poorly coached (see all the silly penalties, today was the worst it's been all season). At what point do you finally say enough is enough to the stupidness that occurs on the field? It's one thing is you're getting beat in the trenches (see Bama game), but it's totally different if you are shooting yourself in the foot with no help from the opposing team. And it also depends on what you expect out of this program which invests 4.5 million in it's head coach? Is 9-3 good enough for the average LSU fan? Should it be? I expect this team to be in national title contention more times than not.
