Tigers D has got to pressure Mallet all day, if not, it'll be a long day for the Tigers! I believe this will be the key to winning the game! LSU's defense shows up: LSU 27 Arkansas 23 Mallet has a hayday: LSU 27 Arkansas 41
Bingo. Mallett tends to get antsy and make mistakes if he gets pressured and knocked around. With the problems in the secondary I don't think we can afford to sit back in coverage and allow Mallett to slice up the defense, but I'm skeptical about Chavis running a blitz-heavy D, so we need Nevis and the guys up front to have a huge game. Even with LSU's improved offense, the last thing we need is to get into a shootout with Arkansas, so look for LSU to grind out long drives on the ground with Ridley and that emerging group of freshman backs.
I think the LSU defense holds Arkansas way below their average. Our offense will struggle on the road but will manage to score. I think the difference will be turnovers and short scoring drives, I expect at least two interceptions and two fumbles . . . by hawgs. Arkansas is also THE most penalized team in the country. #120 out of 120. Let the yellow flags fly for them. LSU 30 Arkansas 28
I feel LSU will come out very strong! Firing on all cylinders, Twin Turbos winding up and Constantly hitting the Nitrous button with extra boost! :hihi: LSU-34 Arky-14
Damn i hate being right in this situation!! Thank goodness the Hogs didn't score 10 more then I would have gotten a cookie!!
