I put a premium on the championship but unfortunately we still only have a 4-team playoff and committee. I think we should have an 8-team playoff with auto bids for champs in the top-25, then at-large for the rest.
Hope you are correct. I live in Houston, winning vs. A&M is more important to me than beating Bama, although I cherish every win over them.
I agreed with this so long as the Big 10 didn't have a title game. But I think every major conference has a TG now, so no one is getting an advantage.
Too much money to stop holding the game. SEC likes it as it gives more opportunities to get multiple teams in the championship. If we beat the dogs there is a pretty good chance the conference gets 2 teams in.
which is more important, the championship one game you put a premium on, or the season that rewarding makes sense
When there are 4 teams, I can understand rewarding the season. I’d prefer to do both and I think that can be done with 8 teams.
