Florida did it in footbal and b-ball in 2006-2008. Two NCs in each. It took a couple years, but said wheels have fallen off in football. Not so much so in b-ball. Now excuse me while I go thrown up...
I'm getting the sense more and more that all you do is gloat....and to think that I was actually defending you to others. :dis:
Have you ever wondered how many NC's Bama would have if Texas lost their star QB in the first series and put in the "B" QB and Les Miles stubbornly stuck with the "C" QB?
in the postgame interview, Trent Johnson was saying that one, Bama is loaded with talent, so we still played a talented team, and that two, the team we played is their next year's team. I'm not sure if he's right about it being their next year's team (because of the 4 guys suspended, only one is a senior, the others were two juniors and a sophomore... now sure they might all go pro after this season, i have no idea) but Trent is right that Bama's bench is talented, they were ranked higher as recruits than our starters: Bama Starters vs LSU on Saturday FR Trevor Lacey -- #24 on the 2011 Rivals150 (#6 SG, 5-star) FR Levi Randolph -- #30 on the 2011 Rivals150 (#8 SG, 4-star) FR Rodney Cooper -- #49 on the 2011 Rivals150 (#12 PG, 4-star) FR Nick Jacobs -- #90 on the 2011 Rivals150 (#12 C, 4-star) JR Ben Eblen -- 3-star LSU Starters vs Bama on Saturday FR Johnny O'Bryant -- #46 on the 2011 Rivals 150 (#4 C, 4-star) SO Andre Stringer -- #107 on the 2010 Rivals 150 (#27 PG, 3-star) SO Ralston Turner, #142 on the 2010 Rivals 150 (#28 SF, 3-star) FR Anthony Hickey -- 3-star JR Justin Hamilton -- NA -- JUCO transfer
Didn't seem to matter too much whether it was A or B team tonight against FLA. So, much for being cocky. That's still 2 losses no matter how you want to slant it, and late in the year, which doesn't help your NCAA tourney plans.
