    You gotta give credit to the Bama D. They rose to the occasion when they had to. Which was often.

    Their D did play well. However, we did have our opportunities. The overthrow in the end zone, the missing of the wide-open receiver for a long touchdown, the overthrow of Bech for would be first down. I could go on.

    The Bama D pressured Johnson all night long. That resulted in the missed opportunities you cited.

    We got great pressure from our D-line., too bad Maason Smith was not available.

    Funny, but in the days when all we had was Danny Etling and Jordan Jefferson, Max would have been a savior. But in 2021 and after Joe Burrow, Max doesn’t mage the grade.
