    Yes, our neighborhood is shaken. This is in 2nd murder in 2 months in a neighborhood where there wouldn't be 2 murders in 10 years.

    My daughter has frequently been at that park with friends during COVID because there is nowhere for kids to go, really. Even to go to a hugh school football game, which is the social event of the week is a freakin process this year.

    So, the kids go to Jack Carter Park because it has a nice lake, lots of pavilions with picnic tables, and sand volleyball courts. It's in the middle of a really nice neighborhood with (I hate to say it) very expensive homes.
