I did say it was rhetorical... But that's still pretty even to me, much better than USL. But it's not like I'm a tulane lover (no offense okie,) I just like some good competition.
no offense taken. im not either. :hihi: but i agree on the competition part. i want to see them do well and have a true in state rival. not to mention, the benefits to the rpi. i look at it kinda like the cali teams. when it comes to regional/super regional play, the cali schools get a lot more respect for keeping them broken into different super regions so that more of their schools have the chance to make it to omaha. until lsu and tulane get the same equal respect, we are gonna keep getting paired in the same super regional, even if both schools deserve the chance to go to the cws. due to circumstances, my brain is a bit foggy right now, but wasnt it 03 when both lsu and tulane really should have had a shot, but only tulane got to go because we were paired in a super? id like to see those days eliminated if both teams are ranked high.
I know, but I was bored, and absolutely hate Tulane. So I figured it would be a good idea to point out that Tulane's BEST ever run in baseball still falls short of a DOWN stretch by LSU baseball.
