yeah.. it was kinda like doing community service hours..

i couldn't even really mess with them...it was just too easy. They aint had much to hang their hat on.

One of them kept bringing up something about a presidential debate, and that ole miss was more prestige. :insane:

HA, they were some good ole guys and gals though. :thumb:

Looking back at the series, both LSU wins were only by one run, must have been scary for LSU, and annoying for Ole Miss:hihi:

all i have to say was that this was an unbelievable series. ole miss is very good, and they were really starting to pull things together (until they faced LSU.) that kid on sunday showed why he was an all-america pitcher. BUT, LSU grew up this weekend. this will mosdef be one of my all-time favorite LSU series wins. everything was just sooo clutch. jared mitchell... wow. blake dean stepping out of his slump with a 4-4 game with 4 RBI on saturday... WOW. LSU learned how to win w/out the longball... really, you can say sooo much about this series. pitching was probably the best i can remember in a college game in a LONG time -- for BOTH sides. i seriously cannot wait for the UGA series. this is the half-way point in the season for LSU, and this is when the Tigers REALLY start turning it on. remember last season, hint, hint!

i agree. i was VERY relieved to see dean getting some hits. the team needs his spark.

i remember it well. i was at that game!

and reminding a certain greenie never gets old. :hihi:

btw, i hope that you get to see the same streak start that i did! and if any greenies get obnoxious, remind them of the role they played last year.

    heh... :hihi:

actually... that's just for baseball. not for football. not for basketball. not for business. not for academia. not for anything. just almost for baseball.

i can somewhat understand tulane fans' complexes since they pay stupid amounts of money to go to a stupid school, but USL just doesn't get that slack from me.

    not me.
that whole elitist "we're better than you (even though we've never won SH!T)" attitude they have about their baseball team makes them almost as bad as Auburn fans are in football.

i agree with you there... but over the last ten years... OK, the last nine, what has LSU done that they haven't? that's rhetorical, btw. im no weenie fan, far from it, but it's good to have a regional rival. regardless of what LSU has attained over the years, when it comes time to play Tulane... those greenies take it seriously. of course the same could be said about any state school when it comes time to play LSU, but Tulane usually doesn't pitch their ace against us. their regular midweek starters usually give us fits. that's good. i like that mentality.

maybe it's kind of like the red sox vs. the yankees, or the white sox vs. the cubs, or if you wanna go a little further back, the cards and the cubs. ya know. i hate tulane and all of that, but that's what makes a rivalry... and even if that is the lone reason why i almost respect them, so be it. it's respect none the same.
