Whew... LSU holds on as the last batter gets called out looking. Honestly, that was a BAD call. I thought it was way outside.
I thought the Tigers were on their way to an all around great game but hit the brakes over the last three innings. I'm waiting for a huge game and I hope they do it tomorrow against Ole Maid! Arkansas still rolling...:nope:
Just got back from my first game in the new Box. I think my favorite part of the game was when Mitchell hit a foul into the stadium lights and showered the Ole Miss dugout in glass.
Good win for the Tigers. Nice to see Dean and Mitchell hitting again. Just need a few more bats to wake up and not let our reliever almost blow a solid 7 innings. Tomorrow is a must, winning the series is the main thing. This team is showing it has it, but just needs to be consistent.
My first game there ever, too, (and I never set foot in the old Box, I'm sorry to say.) Took a co-worker and my son. Had a good time, great view and I took some good pics. I have one pic I just have to post. I believe you can click on it for a better view. Funny.
I don't remember the last time I saw a guy score from 1st on a single. Not without him advancing on a throw, or something to that effect.
He was bookin', fo sheaux. Not many folks can pull that off, I'm thinkin'. But the outfielder made an "error in judgement" that helped. Had he gotten the ball into the infield quicker, Mitch wouldn't have probably had a chance to try it.
