They did claw their way back in; they had a shot at the buzzer to tie, and if they’d have fouled properly they’d have had about 8 seconds to tie or win. They’ve played kinda tentative on the road most of the year. Now we are waiting for: 1. NIT birth, announced SU; this in itself is a win for WW; I heard WW reached out to the NIT to say LSU is very interested in participating (considering the previous coach snubbed a NIT invite for whatever reason) 2. Host a game (or two!) 3. Win as many as possible (its all lagniappe at this point) Everything from this point on is an extra feather in WWs cap. It’s a little disappointing we couldn’t pull out the win vs MOOU; the SECT bracket was about as friendly to our NCAAT hopes as could be.
