Both Harvard pitchers looked really good. They were keeping the ball down, hitting their spots and changing speeds effectively. Our hitters were off balance all night. That's the down side of being a highly regarded program. You always get the opponents' "A" game.
That is very true, but considering the way Harvard has been thrashed by everyone our boys should have been able to kill them with just our "C" game. I think that is what we will see today. Hopefully they are starting to get it, that no matter who the opponent is, we have a huge target on our backs and cannot take anyone for granted.
Also very true. I just have a hard time accepting that ULM put up 11 on them and we can't manage half that number. We are better than that.
Which is why next time I won't be so over confident and will take all our opponents seriously. Anything can happen and must always be prepared for the worst.
