don't know how much it had to do with competition. dude came here never expected to play, let alone start. he proved that he could play at an SEC level when called upon. nothing left to prove, so why not go back and get one of the best educations available in the country. The kid probably has pretty much ZERO emotional ties holding him to LSU, and even fewer NFL aspirations keeping him at a top shelf football school.
