The comparison was made to say that there are alot of good teams that are 0-2. And, I think you need to look a little closer at the "what looks" good. Remember that Florida has had top 3 recruiting year in and year out in the SEC in the last few years. Unfortunately, they haven't finished in the top 3 in the SEC the last two years. If our TF football fans were posting on the topic they'd probably be crying for Donovan's head for "underachieving" like our Miles haters believe.

When you say that "most" LSU basketball fans would love to have that right now, I guess I'd argue, we went farther than Florida in the NCAAs last year :) Billy D hasn't been to the NCAAs in the past 2 years, which is actually worse than LSU. I don't think that Florida's hoops program is necessarily the "envy" of LSU hoops fans, but for the two national championships, which obviously I do envy. It is a worthwhile debate, however, do you want a coach that primarily is a good recruiter vs. a good coach. Not sure that Trent can win it all without some pretty stout recruiting, but if we value more consistency and stability (which was a large part of the thought process in removing Brady in the first place) I think Trent can bring that.

LSU gave a good effort tonight, Did the best they could with what they have. They played hard & I am proud of them for that at least. Is there a SEC team out there that we have a chance to beat or will we go winless this year???

On paper, we are probably a bottom half SEC team, and right now, it certainly looks bleak. But, we played 30 minutes of ball against USC and were leading. There are certainly teams we match up better against (i.e., teams without big men and without super quick guards). We play Auburn in the PMAC on Wednesday, and I hope that fans will support the team and the team plays inspired. If we get better and the kids get on the same page, we can win some games...
