And UF lost to Ole Miss, and Bama didn't score on offense against Tulane. This is college football. I know Florida is good and UGA beat us. As much as I hate to say it, my money is on Saban in Atlanta if they get past us this weekend.
Couldn't agree more. People are acting like we're winless or something. Looks like the team will have to overcome Bama AND their own fans, especially if there's adversity early and the fans turn on the team. That would suck.
Who says that I'm not? I was talking specifically about Charles Scott, and what I deem is your faulty assessment of his impact. You're the one that keeps bringing up LSU's defense, a unit that Charles Scott has yet to appear on. Yeah, right...it's completely reasonable to compare your offense to Florida's. And I've got some property to sell you. This is delusional Bammer-speak at it's best... Actually, he is. We were down pretty big at Jordan-Hare and he John Elway'd us to victory...and that was after throwing a pic-6, bro...
Hard to tell about this game with all the noise & emotion. We're very solid and don't make many mistakes though. Talent on both sides, but we're on a mission and seem very focused right now. Nothing would surprise me, but... Bama -27 LSU - 17
That's great, except that these kids weren't alive then, so it may not matter as much as you think. As usual, I don't make predictions on scores, but I don't feel good about this one. How could I?
In Fla. this week, Sanibel Island. Missed the Tulane game, on the road, will miss the Bama game driving back home, but worth it. If the Bama game goes to form, LSU loses 28-14. Going to form means Lee effective on some drive, but committing critical mistakes that cost us, and the secondary suffering critical breakdowns that give a couple of easy touchdowns to Bama. That's what I'll go with. But, there is a slim chance, that Jarrett comes of age, that he eliminates that one pass he should have seen the double coverage on, and he finds a secondary or third receiver in the open, and its a score for LSU instead of Bama. That's a 14 point turn in the game, and we're TIED, and its off to overtime. Then anything can happen! That's what I love about college football. The game "goes to form" less often than the NFL. There's ALWAYS HOPE!!! :geaux:
