I think we'll be okay. I think Bama goes up early but we chip away and attempt to steal it from them in the 4th. Whether we get it or not.. no idea. Lee throws for 3 TDs, 223 yards. Holliday takes a kickoff back. If Lee has > 1 INT we lose.
I dont work there anymore so ya gotta come up with something else...and I live in Bham now too. :thumb: An above poster said that the Bama team was cocky. This team is about as humble as you can be. A Tuscaloosa reporter referred to Alabama's team as being "Joe the Plumber". Blue collar type team that isn't flashy, but gets the job done. The team knows this. They aren't cocky. As far as the game goes, I think that our running game is about as strong as it's been in a very very long time. Coffee and Ingram are hard north-south runners that can bounce off defenders. Upchurch is more of a quick scat-back kinda guy that can grab some yards too. Between the 3, they have 1762 yds and 19 TD's. Most of the props goes to the big, physical offensive line. The game hinges on JPW's play and if your look at the big games this year, his management of those games has been great. I think the he comes up big in another big game Saturday. Bama 31, LSU 23
Yeah, but how many of them are to the Gumps? It kills me to say this and I hope I'm wrong but AMAB 24 LSU! 21
Alabama has only given up 100 yards rushing to 1 team all year. Ole Miss had 107. Now, our secondary isn't the best obviously, but they are solid. South Carolina gives up the same amout of yards but 3 more TD's. They have 9 INT's for 194yds and 1 returned for a TD. Bama has 11 INT's for 229yds and 3 TD's. I'd give a slight edge to UA. I'll give you UF. They are playing better than anyone in the nation. Auburn? They could be great but their confidence is shot...and their offense keeps them on the field too long.
I'll go with this score. LSU will find a way to stop the running attack of Bama and JPW won't quite make enough plays to win it. Lee is interception free and helps LSU win. Nothing flashy, just steady play. JSRacing celebrates as LSU runs the ball 54 times.
I know man! When is the last time they did THAT?? Oh yeah...last night.:rolleye33: :lsup:37 Bama 23
