I don't make predictions on the score anymore but don't be surprised if you are presently surprised come 6PM Saturday. :geaux::geauxtige:helmet::tigerhead:lsup:LSU! :miles: ldskule: :tigereye:
The atmosphere may cause another quake...at least that's my sense of it. I think the O-line will perform well. The D-line will finally have a breakout of sorts and pressure JPW successfully. Miles has some success with some funny business plays. Charles Scott gets 100. Lee settles in nicely and Trindon gets a sixer. Bama will not get above 28. Score:  30 Bama 21 Sure hope our guys get inspired in this one. :LSU231::tigereye::LSU231::tigereye::LSU231:
Bama - 30 LSU - 17 Saban (as he is so reknowned for) comes up with a defensive scheme that confuses Lee even more so than he is now. Lee throws at least one pick six, our defense gets torched on a blitz (that Bama picks up) and Maze scores on a long TD pass, and then either Ingram or Coffee bust a long run on us because well...we don't seem to tackle very well despite it being game number nine. Throw in three Bammer field goals and a couple of obligatory "the game is over" TD passes from Lee and we get our as*ses handed to us again thanks to Bradley and Doug's tour de idiot.
I can't say I'm confident about this game. I do believe that we're very capable of beating Bama, but will we finally show up...? The optimist in me says that the defense will be pumped & have a great day, while Lee limits his mistakes & makes some impressive plays without making dumb decision. The realist in me says our defense probably will be better, but Bama will still score some points with big plays & I don't see Lee being very effective against a Saban defense.
A lot of you seem to be giving Bama's defense a lot more credit than they deserve. They are a solid team, but LSU has faced two defenses better than Bama's so far this year: Florida and South Carolina. Auburn's might be better as well. I love this stat: LSU has never scored less than 21 under Crowton. I see no reason for that to end this week. Also, I am like Dandy Don, and can never pick LSU to lose, not that I think we will: LSU 28 Bama 24
#1 in the land coming to your house. Huge chance for redemption. Let alone who that #1 happens to be. If a coach or player can't get inspired for this one...
I think LSU takes a pretty good beat down. I say about Bama 35-10. Of course 2 TD's Int. Return for a TD and a couple of very short fields. Just not our year this year. We will be back, just need to rebuild a bit.
I hope you are right That is too close for me, I will hafta start drinking way early if that is gonna happen I was kinda thinking close to that score too I also think that the team will be more ready for this game than they have all year. I do hope that it is not that close I like that score I like that one even more, and I do think that the guys will be ready I think the defense will be way ready Too close for me Florida was also number 1 (I think it was in 97) when they came to our house, and they went back home with a loss too. I believe in this team, and I believe they will perform well on Saturday :helmet:35 Bama 21 :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
