I mentioned yesterday on the baseball game thread that I will be in Metairie thru Wednesday, and I'm trying to get a ticket to the LSU/UNO game tomorrow night. Well, I succeeded, and then some! I called my friend with the ticket hookup...same one that got me into the BCSNCG...and he is going with his daughter and dad...had one extra ticket...and it's now mine. But there's good AND bad news... The bad news is, I can only stay for about an hour of the baseball game, because... at that point, he and I are leaving to go to the Hornets/Spurs game 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (By the way, that's the good news):thumb: Good friend to have, huh?
ill try this again. i was posting a reply a while ago when i lost electricity. i am happy to hear that you got tix! that does indeed sound like a good friend to have!:thumb: cheer for our tigers a bit for me while you are at it!
I just bought tickets and they still had great seats remaining. I found four behind home plate in the lower section for $15/each. I have no idea how they allotted seats or if I'll be surrounded by UNO fans but I plan to make a lot of noise. GEAUX TIGERS!!! :tigbas:
Hey...my friend has season tix for the Z's, and that's where they are...I think row 8 or 9. I am hoping that his tix for this game are in the same place...very good seats.
Thanks, and you know I'll be cheering for the Tigers...for a little bit, anyway. To tell the truth, when he asked if I wanted to go to the Hornets game with him...I almost, literally...said no. I want to stay and watch the whole LSU/UNO game. I'm really not much of an NBA fan, but as a sports fan, and NOLA native, I realize the magnitude of the Hornets game...and decided I might regret it if I said no.:thumb:
Sounds like you'll be a part of two big wins tomorrow night! Of course, if neither wins, we'll ban you for the rest of the season!!! :hihi:
I'm not much of an NBA fan either, but you can be sure that the experience at the Arena will be second to none. Not to slight the LSU-UNO game, but the Hornets are playing so well at home and the atmosphere should be electric.
I would have to agree since the Bees are in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Besides LSU/UNO could match up again in Baton Rouge in our regional! But I have to say the hive may burst with all of the excitement.
