i think he is also talking about the theater style graininess that some movies or shows have. I actually like that alot, especially with blu ray's of older movies. Jay B, are you using HDMI cables, that will help a little with the refresh rate.
hdmi, yes. i guess it's the cable provider's fault then, but it is something i have noticed on just about every HD sporting event i've ever viewed. if a $2,000 samsung led 46" isn't cutting-edge enough, standard def is definitely good enough for me.

maybe we should have had our spring game later in the spring like some of these other schools. :hihi: more preparation and all. ESPN has us ranked 14 preseason. with a running game and an offensive line jefferson should have a good enough season for a championship run. the schedule is favorable for it.
I watched the first qtr, then I got bored. Hard to tell from the spring games but I think the UNC game is a win for LSU. They're not as fast or as physical overall as LSU, They do have some good players though. Anybody else watch the game? What did you think?

Carolina fan here. I would like to wish you guys best of luck Sept 4. If we can manage some offense i expect a close one. I had a scouting report typed out but it took me so long the forum booted me out and it got erased. It is all but etched in stone the barring injury Yates is the starter for the opener. I know its a long way to go but Carolina will need senior leadership for a team like LSU.
I attended the game. We had at least 6 starters that did not play at all. Spring game is hard to tell but we do have a long way to go
