my guess is a real tight game. itll probably take our OL and O in general a few games to really get going. lsu 17-13
i really don't care for the new HD. trying to watch MLB with that crap is awful, you can't tell if an infielder bobbles a ball or if it's just the crappy "high" definition. i do have the highest cable tier with a samsung 46" led. to each his own.
 I'm kind of baffled here. You have more trouble making out what's going on when it's in HD as opposed to SD?
I have no idea what you are talking about. Any sport in HD provides much better visual intake than standard def. Watching sports in standard def makes my eyes bleed now. You're either doing it wrong, or need glasses.
If our D is gonna be effective in SEC this year, UNC won't score on offense. So, if we lose, we lose big (picture wise). If we can prevent defensive scores, we win. Seems pretty simple, but I notice right many "ifs" in the above para. Having stated that, my bro, who follows UNC and NC State very close, thinks the game will be a joke. Meaning we win big. We will see. I think more important that the game itself, is what the game portends for the rest of the season.
I agree. I mean when you can see the beads of sweat on players faces and count the blades of grass on the field I don't know how much clearer it can get than that. I wouldn't watch sports any other way.
Get some glasses Magoo. If you can't see the ball on that setup the problem is not with your electronics my friend. Or maybe it is, you know those cables have to be plugged into the right places my lack of color perception prevents me from doing most of this stuff unless it is labled. I get my 3 yr old to help me. "Hayden, what color is this" "Thats blue daddy" "okay, now point to the hole with the blue ring around it" "right there daddy" pretty simple right?
perhaps i am doing it wrong then because i cannot stand it. visually it is stunning, but the playback is really choppy. i don't know how to describe it other than it is like a movie. and it's not just my HD, it's every one i've ever viewed.
Ohhhh, I do know what you are talking about now. During quick movement, the picture can look pixelated. As technology pushes forward, refresh rates on the hardware will come down, and video encoding bit-rates will go up. Some TVs have more trouble than others converting from one format to another, as well. This is less of an issue on newer TVs and will continue to improve.
