Most UGA fans were pulling for Ohio State in the BCS Championship.

UGA fans are VERY envious of LSU, and, why shouldn't they be? They haven't won a National Championship in football in a LONG time.

Bitter (2004, 2007) is another adjective that fits nicely with this scenario.

I was also there in 2004 with the band. Saying the UGA fans were hostile is putting it nicely. Before the game it seemed everyone who passed by was talking $#!* and after the game someone tried to attack the tuba players... in the end the tuba players pummeled him, but this was after they won.

ive never seen such an arrogant group going into a season. i guess it is because uga was sooo deserving of that title spot and are a little upset.

i cant wait until they lose 2-3 games next year, which they will. national title shot? im glad they think that so their dreams will only be crushed at a higher level.

I, for one, have no hatred for LSU fans.
And I pulled for LSU (as the SEC representative) in the BCS CG.

While some might say that Georgia fans are arrogant about the 2008 season, I honestly have to say that I'm simply very confident that they will be one of the very best teams in the country.

But it has nothing to do with the 2007 season!

I'm saying that I am confident because of the following reasons:

    1. Stafford is now very experienced as a starter.
(he is now 18-4 including a 1/2 year as a true freshman starter)
Logan Gray, the backup, is the fastest QB in the SEC.

    2. Knowshon Moreno, Caleb King and Brannon Southerland make up one of the best backfields that Georgia has ever had.

    3. The defense comes back intact. The defense is deep and fast, with an abundance of experience and no weaknesses anywhere. The linebackers all have 4.5 speed.

    Etc...Etc...Etc...

Georgia is the only SEC team that Les Miles has not beaten... Should be interesting!
