There are a lot of non basketball fans who think Simmons is overrated when they see he only scored 14 against Kentucky. For myself, I see a game like that as a strength, as he was 5-5 from the field and pulled in double digit rebounds. Simmons has a very high basketball IQ. He is not a ball hog. He will do what is best for the team. I can never understand why people are impressed by a player who scores 30 points.......on 7-23 shooting.

No posts after the Ole Piss game, eh? Well, we're 3-1 in the SEC. Gotta keep grinding and see how it all shakes out. They looked to be playing with a little more chemistry on offense, more supporting players scoring. A few positives.

Simmons is an unreal talent. Really the only part of his game that needs a lot of work is his jump shot. If he could pull up and drain shots with consistency, man.

hes a stat filler needs to learn when to take over instead of being lebrons less aggressive little brother. he can get any shot he wants. get to the rim and use your size.

also needs to have confidence in his shot. mostly wide open 10 footers. like a star player. this is directly related to problem 1 above.

what this team needs to do is learn to play great defensive basketball when the offense is struggling, but unfortunately Jones does not do a good job in this department...the fewest number of points in a victory is 78...need to win a 67-63 type game at some point

Watched the ole miss game, impressed with the moody guy. Ole miss looked more athletic but we pulled out the win at the end. Solid win with plenty of flaws.
