I think that’s the difference in coaching quality. We don’t have the guys who make those adjustments on the fly and change a game. Good coaches find ways to use all their weapons to win the game. Mullen did it today on many occasions.
I’m optimistic about our future but I’m disappointed across the board in our performance today. I guess I agree with it being a lull because I just can’t find myself to give any credit to Florida. Speaking of Lulls, I’m guessing Auburn is in one in Starkville right now.
Fuck Florida. God damnit if we dont beat their ass in Baseball I'm gonna lose it. @shane0911 You better enforce the rules during baseball season. I fucking mean it!
Yeah, idk, Miles was one of the worst I’ve ever seen at in game adjustments, and he managed to win a lot.
Miles I think got a massive boner in just lining up and beating you man on man. Some Viagra post 2011 would have kept him in it longer.
I don’t like the fact that it looks like LSU got a little big headed. Maybe believing they are a lot better than they are instead of fighting like they did when the world didn’t give em a chance.
That’s the difference in a 10-2 coach and a 12-0 coach. Miles was bad at a lot of in game stuff but he got his talent to win in spite of the goofy stuff he would do. He also lost his aggressiveness after 2011.
This is my weekend rotation to work, so I only saw bits and pieces of the game. Did see the 1st touchdown and the field goal tho. But what I saw too many damn times to count was the damn option right from Florida that for the life of them, LSU just had no freaking answer for. The LSU defense played like shit today. And I am sick and tired of watching the LSU defense trying to make highlight reels by doing some diving shoulder first bullshit to knock a ball carrier down. What happened to wrapping up and taking people off their feet? Another big ass issue I saw today was, for the OL being the healthiest they've been since Week 1, they couldn't block for shit. Burrow had no time in the pocket, and numerous times we were blown off of our blocks and Burrow taken down from behind shortly after trying to run. If LSU doesn't get some stuff corrected and quickly, LSU could be 5-4 after the Bama game.
That's a big part of it. When you see their RB carrying us 10 yards from jump that tells you what's up. I'm alone in this but I don't like 22 in the backfield. Haven't liked anything I see except he runs hard. Into the tackler. 4 can find the hole similar to a Dalton hilliard. Almost always plus yardage. I think he has to be replaced. Probably not til next year. Lack of a fournette or guice has a price in games where you need a star to carry you. Just run 4 til they stop him.
