This could be the loss we needed if they learn from it. They have to do more than show up, to be elite they need to focus on what’s right in front of them, not who we play next week. White looked like he was in a funk and other than a few good stops he was just going thru the motions. Our Dline, which Oeaux already voiced displeasure with, got very little penetration today. They have shown they can bow up when needed so why don’t they give that effort for 60 minutes. Hope it’s just youth and they come away with some motivation from this loss!
I’m wondering about the WRs, too. Why so much Giles? Chase and Marshall are beasts. Gotta get those guys the ball. Agree with someone’s comment, maybe @LaSalleAve or @mctiger , about taking the shorter passes, then setting up the longer ones.
I think the problem is we are trying to run and calling too much play action. Burrow is already limited with a slow release. Adding the time of a fake, drop back and then finding a target is not good when your Oline decides to take the night off.
