Umm, I keep seeing people say this, but what are you talking about? We had the lead for maybe 8 minutes and after the fumble we didn't get outside of our endzone. Props to UF's punter. Dude murdered us. When the sacks we were taking, having Joe drop back in the endzone would have been more of a disaster.
Would be the same if it were on ESPN. Speaking of...they have the Nicholls - Northwestern game on espn3 tonight, but its blacked out in south LA. Real smart. I suppose they think the audience for this game is in Rhode Island.
Truth. You can talk about playcalling all you want, but bottom line....UF was the tougher team today.
As much as it pains me to say it, Mullen has turned into a fairly decent coach in the last 3 or 4 years. Now, at Florida, he will have access to athletes, the likes of which he never would've had at MSU.
This is a tough loss. LSU would really be smelling sweet right now if they could have played a great game and won. Wow. Tough loss. This one hurts.
Lets be real, outside of having Cam Newton at QB, you wont win many games not blocking the Deline and losing vs a 3 man rush.
At this point, we can't do much when little Nicky is still running around. O is supposedly having a big 2019 haul, but even if we fired him, I dont believe in any coach to match what Bama is doing right now. Their QB throws a damn TD almost every time he touches the ball.
I found him to be a laughable choice when his name was thrown around after Miles was fired. We managed to hire someone more laughable, so in retrospect, maybe Mullen wouldn't have been so bad. With that being said, I have been a bit surprised with the job Orgeron has done, so far, this season.
His knock and his downfall at UF will be a failure to recruit. He just hasn't sown the ability to consistently grab the elite talent like Kirby is doing. I dont think he ever will.
