I agree. D let us down on that drive. But the O let us down just as much throughout the game, as well as coaching. We just got beat. And not by a better team. By a team roughly equal to us who just looked better at the right times than we did.

Exactly! LSU and UF alike are neither dumpster fires nor Championship teams. Nothing about UF wowed me.

I wondered why we didn't see Brossette again after that series where he made the Florida defense his bitch.

We’ve played above expectations in 2 of our 3 real games. Burrow has started 6 games. The kids has to take some lumps and today was his 1st true lump. What I’m most interested in, is how we respond. I knew this team (young, raw, inexperienced) was going to lose a few. I expected us to lose a few. This one just sucks more because it wasn’t a loss to an elite team. It was a ho hum performance against a ho hum team. And we’re also just a ho hum team as well.

The problem with a loss like this is that we made a change to improve, not continue with 8-4 to 10-2 seasons and that is the ceiling right now. We throw it more but we are still playing for 3rd or 4th place in the SEC...not good enough. Mullen and his staff beat us with equivalent talent. Mullen was more creative with play calling beating Aranda’s group and his DC just whipped Ensminger and his group. With the salaries we are paying we should be competing with Nick & Kirby for titles. Hope we grow and improve because the product we put on the field is just average.

If receivers catch balls we might have won. Tough loss but I’ll take 5-1 and wait to see how we do next week. Props to Mullen.

We didn’t protect the qb, we didnt put pressure on the opposing qb, we got conservative with the lead and couldn’t stop the run. Then when it counted receivers dropped balls. I’m still blaming this one on Joe Alleva because it makes me feel better.

There is certainly blame to go around. I just personally feel that when your O, who has struggled all game, drives the field for a TD late in the game (4th quarter), you as a defensive team has to step the fuck up....

Getting waxed on a 3 man rush makes me look at our front and want to punch a kitten.
