I hope nobody goes, leaving Tulane with a very empty Turchin Field...after they screwed the LSU fans a couple of years ago. Raising ticket prices to just about double what LSU charged for the SUPER regional that year.
i hate to defend tulane, but free market. tulane knew they could charge that. just as lsu can, and does, charge more for sec fb games than non-conference. dont like it, dont go. pretty simple.
Simply put, it was a scam. Some of my Tulane customers told me that year that the advance tickets were regular prices...and that they were encouraged to go out and buy the tickets in advance so that they wouldn't have to pay "LSU" prices. It wasn't as free a market as you suppose... the fix was on.
