1) Baseball preseason ranked #1. 2) Basketball definitely heading in the right direction under Johnson and exceeding expectations in 2009 it appears. 3) Football should be preseason ranked top 10 and maybe even top 5 along with best recruiting class in the nation. For the record we actually have a Hockey team www.lsuhockey.com Club team... I have played the game with some who have played. (Yes I play Ice Hockey, long story).
Trying to wrap my brain around this concept.....LSU has a hockey team....and they are 6-5 on the year according to the website! GEAUX!!!!

Yeh I have played some pick up games with a few of them (Not this years team back when I lived in Baton Rouge for a few years) they play at Leos by Cortana (Its a dump of a Rink but its Louisiana) the one in Lafayette is not bad. Yes we have Ice Hockey in Louisiana. I even have an LSU Hockey Jersey. The biggest difference is we have a Geauxlie instead of a goalie. As for their skill its like any club team. You have some really good players and some average ones who played Roller Hockey. I mean this years Assistant Captain has a last name of Mayeaux which your like Breaux Bridge!. No his is from Wisconsin, some from Michigan, etc. then you sprinkle in some from New Orleans which did have a rink but never made it through Katrina. But with any university you have transplants that bring it with them. My team here in Dallas has played some of the university club teams like SMU and TCU.If they were really good, they wouldnt be playing at LSU. I love College Hockey (Yes no flames please) you want to watch some Hockey watch Michigan vs Michigan State, or Boston vs Boston College, or North Dakota vs. Minn. That is some good stuff. If you like that kind of thing. Which I do. I mean our LSU team plays SEC schools. Go check out our Tigers one day at Leo's may like it.
