There is truth and logic here...:(

Screw it. Kay Cera Cera. Bama's going DOWN!

    The Southeastern Conference sticks together.
Spend an entire holiday season attending West Coast bowl games, and you'd never hear a Pac-10 pride chant.
Yet the most football-crazed, rivalry-driven, animosity-defined conference in all of college athletics shares success with a conciliatory "S-E-C! S-E-C!"
    Go figure.
However, the Mad Hatter and his Bayou Bengals could seriously put that loyalty to the test if they cost the Southeastern Conference a trip to Pasadena.

Nonsense. Florida would still be unbeated. And, if we win out, beat Florida in the SEC Championship game, you might see LSU play for the title. No way does the SEC need Bama to win to have a title shot.

its very possible that undefeated Tx and Iowa would get to the NC before 1 loss LSU.

I agree, which is why I said might. But you'd have to admit a 1-loss LSU would probably get in over all the other 1-loss teams and TCU, Boise, or Cincinnati.

It wouldn't be the 1st time. I just, don't see us not getting in should be run the tables. Only possible stumbling block, IMO, is an undefeated Iowa. Although TCU has stepped out and played some of the big boys.

Iowa is still undefeated. But they still have to play OSU at the horseshoe.

Because, don't you know, how impressed everyone is with how Iowa has had to come from behind in all of their games to win them. Oh wait, computers don't see that. That's why they are in love with them.

[SARCASM] Maybe we should roll over and play dead against 'Bama. Take one for the team, you know? After all, I sure don't want the good fans of Vanderbilt and South Carolina po'd at us for ruining their string of championships! [/SARCASM]
