and our AD knowing we have young corners this season. That could have played a big role in not scheduling a game against them next year.

 I seriously doubt that's the case. But it's funny to think it might be.

LSU likely doesn't want to schedule OOC games that they have a better chance then not to lose. You put young corners up against Crabtree and Co. and it could be very unpleasant.

Washington is a better decision considering the type of game they play. And much more winnable in my opinion.

Simply stating what may have been a contributing factor in the decision to schedule Washington rather then Texas Tech. If you don't think our AD looks at factors outside of money, then you are kidding yourself.

Do I think Tech would destroy us... no, likely the other way around.

Would I like to see us play them... yes it would be a fun game to watch.

The overall contributing factor is likely that Mark Emmert, ex LSU Chancellor, was behind this game 100% and was probably pretty integral in working this deal out.

I'll have to make that game no matter where I'm at. I spent 6 years in Seattle (Air Force) and in 2000, I had Seahawks season tickets. That was their 1st year they played in Husky Staduim. A very nice stadium by the way, it over looks Lake Washington. Plus, my wife and her brother is a UW alum. Maybe some friendly wagers in the future?

The only thing that scares me about that game is their QB is a Tim Tebow clone and will be a RS Junior at that time. Could be an interesting game!

I hope I'm not deployed so I can make it to the game.

This should be a good game for the Tigers. Also a good road trip for those that can make it.
Funny too, I actually played catch on that field when I was young and have been to a game there. Relatives. Very nice stadium, pretty much well behaved crowd. Would say its not as loud or rowdy as the valley but I am still waiting for my first game there....
Recommended side trips, fish market, Mt. Ranier snowed in July one year I was there, sapce needle was cool to a ten year old boy.
Restaurant - check out an Ivar's fish bar. Haven't been in a long time but it had the best everyday seafood in the northwest. Different than what you would be used to but pretty good. Try the prawns and maybe find some good grilled fresh Halibut.
