That was in the advocate a week or so back and LSU is still interested in playing someone in Texas in reliant Stadium to help recruiting in the TX hotbed.

they really did try to find a few teams, but they very much wanted someone to bend over for them.

TTech officials actually wanted to do it from my understanding.

Just Leach didn't like the idea of having 5-start 0-1 starts on his resume.

to summarize, they could have found someone if they "really" wanted to.

We played a solid Western Illinois team in 2003. Yet, our schedule was the difference in us getting in over USC that year. Point is, like many stated before, our SEC schedule is so tough that this can't bring it down. App State is 2-time defending Div 1-AA champs and they beat a top 5 Michigan team @ Michigan last year. No slouches for sure.

We are defending champs and we will have the benefit of the doubt with our schedule this year as a result. Last year we played a tough one and killed VT. We aren't gonna have a top ten OOC opponent every year but we will be in enough big games to make up for it. Sure it looks bad now but Troy and North Texas could go to bowl games, never know. this is a good thing for a young team next year...

Nothing you can do about it now.

I just hope we're not 1 of 3 teams with only 1 loss next year and we're listening to all the talking heads saying what an embarrassing OOC schedule we had.

Just gotta pray the OOC Div-I schools have great years since playing a Div-II school kills your SOS in most computer polls.

I think this is a disgrace and blame the people who schedule games and the administration for not using good judgement.

Find someone like Fresno St. and make the deal.

    This is bad business.

I know we have a tough SEC schedule and we do every year. So What?

We need to schedule a decent game and dont give me Appl St 1AA Champions stuff. If i am a ESPN guy i trash LSU for making this deal and rightly so.

If you want to be thought of as an elite conference you have to go out and play at least one tough OOC opponent each year and maybe not always at home.
