Just beat them good, They have another real fast QB, like the Richie that they had the last time we played them, but I watched them play Georgia Southern ( they lost) and he is short and couldnt throw over the line, so he runs for a couple a hundred yards .
Who does everyonethink is the team ,in the SEC, that we must watch out for the most next season.:thumb:

    I kinda disagree.

I think LSU will get more credit for beating Appy State than they would if they beat ULL or ULM, just because of the "Michigan" factor.

A game that would have normally had zero buzz now gets some buzz.

Trust me, I don't like it, but there is some good that could come of it.

Say what you will, but the LSU-Appalachian State game in 2005 was a very solid game. They came in and gave a very respectful effort. They only lost by 24 when most people would expect it to be a bigger gap than that. It may turn out to be a good game.

I also remember Appalachian State giving LSU a pretty good check for the Katrina relief fund, so coupled with the good effort, I think of them in a positive light.

Another way to look at this is that CLM gets to get some payback for his Michigan buddies like he did by dismantling OSU. I guess we got Michigan's back.:hihi:

The Buckeyes made it to the big game with this kind of a schedule. Of course, they didn't have to play Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Alabama and Tennessee....

    What was my point?

Oh, I remember, if we get through with only one loss to an SEC team, we're still in it.

I'm starting to wonder about LSU's negotiating skills or motivation to get it done. It's pretty convenient to keep claiming they tried to schedule a BCS school but were turned down again. In the end, they get what they want ... not giving up a home game.

Don't shoot the messenger here but I'm reading that the reason TTech declined was because they wanted to play at Jones AT&T Stadium which only holds about 50,000. LSU preferred Reliant Stadium in Houston and so the deal didn't happen.

    Anyone?

    LSU wanted a 5-year series.

the 1st to be played here, the last 4 to be in Reliant.

    Tech declined.

I know VT was looking for a game (about a month ago) Im sure if LSU wanted that game it could have been arranged.
