Appreciate the thought but I am not in school anymore. Youngest still hasn't finished his Masters...... Driving me and the Mrs. crazy.
And, while his big brother is a proud LSU grad, this child chose to go to UF.
Yes that is correct, Gainesville. Guess he lived over here too long. Wanted to go where his friends and girlfriend were.

By the way, I don't hate them as much as I used to. One of Steve Spurrier's (yea that guy) last acts as Gator coach was to hand him an academic scholarship. That kind of took the edge off a bit. I actually pull for them sometimes now. I know it's blasphemy, but it is what it is.

He is known throughout the family as the "Gator Traitor" and yes he is still catching it. Really bad during football season...

I like Florida, except when we're playing them. It's easy to understand why so many choose them and USC with the beaches, babes, so much to do.

As for your kid, as long as they go to college and get a degree I'd feel pleased as a parent. :thumb:

I just hated to see this thing die with so much time left until the big game. Well, we APP fans think it is a big game. We can infer from y'all's comments that we aren't worthy of even using the same shape football but apparently we were both desperate...heh heh Looking forward to it just the same..
    GO APPS!

how much fun would it be if we all said "thank god we're playing someone up to our level" or "Holy Sh!t!! App State! couldn't we get a cupcake instead?":hihi:

There is nothing within walking distance except the Cook Conference Center Hotel on campus. The Downtown Sheraton and Hilton are next to the casinos and about a mile to LSU. The many hotels at the I-10 at Acadian Thruway exit (Marriott, La Quinta, etc) and the I-10 at College Drive Exit (Radisson, Best Western, Embassy Suites, Comfort Inn, etc.) are not too far away from the stadium

I've been kinda out of it for a while, so I missed this post. Just saw the schedule the other day. App St is one of those teams that run either hot or cold. Never know what you're gonna get. Gotta watch this one.

Hope everyone is getting through the weather okay over there. In case you wanted to learn a little more about App. State and it's coach, check out the link. I think the special is on over there in BR on Channel 33 tomorrow night at 9pm and on WWL Channel 4 in NOLA 3-7 at 8pm. http://www.billygraham.org/TV_Index.asp
