i just looked and as of now, the last update for boyds world is last friday and lsu was 16. NCAA Division I Baseball -- Pseudo-RPI's
I was thinking we were 15-16 last week and hoped we may move up a little. With the SEC being more balanced this year and having less ranked teams, it appears the conference isn't getting rated as high as usual. That may keep us from hosting a Super Regional even if we win the SEC tournament. I can't imagine the SEC not hosting at least one S.R. but Georgia has the inside track right now.
I just hope we get paired up with a regional in our region! Florida, California, North Carolina, and Arizona are too far away to travel. I also hope they don't overload the quality in some regionals to help some of the non-traditional powerhouses (aka: yankee teams) make it to Omaha.
1st time I have seen a composite poll. LSU is #12 up from #20 last week. College Baseball Insider - Your Home for College Baseball
