I think the talent level is LSU, USC and then the rest of the nation. Decent gap in between.

the next Alabama, the next Nebraska, the next Florida State, Maimi, USC, Texas, Florida. It just goes on and on, so then the answer to that is no. Each team and school has it's it's own individual identity. The way LSU is viewed and the way USC is viewed will never be anything like each other. A school like next Notre Dame would more likely be more similuar to the next USC in that they both get a great deal of media hype, other than that what was your point again?

The closest thing you guys will get to USC is UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA. 11 national championships. I think you have 9 more to go just to catch us.

In hindsight, I think RP made a mistake by going to LSU instead of USC.

Also, I think Coach Mile's decision to kick him off the team makes us look a lot more respectable that USC.

Yes, from one side, kicking a kid off the team is pretty freaking Nazi. It is similar to kicking someone out of your own family. Trust me, I believe it broke Miles heart to do so to RP, and I believe Miles will pull strings and make phone calls to help RP go to a team (Div II?) that will still give him a shot at a good future. I've seen Miles tear up on several occasions when talking about how much he loves the LSU boys that he coaches, I believe he loves RP the same way.

And yes, from the other side, being a hard ass that doesn't take any crap, even to the point of kicking a megastar QB off your team... that is something that comes across as very respectable to the media. Go start reading all the media commentaries LSU is getting for kicking RP off the team. A lot of praise for us out there. Sorry for trying to point out that getting this kind of praise makes us better than USC. I'm sorry that I offended you.
