Was a great season folks. Any better a pen and maybe, maybe better. Gonna miss a lot of these guys. They were a special group and getting dumped in 3 in eauxmaha is gonna be about as good as it is gonna be. I'll take it, sign off on the season and talk shit about dunn tomorrow. This team is not built to play from behind. They need to get up, and in a series, or in this case tournament, having one of their only 2 aces lose the first game was the beginning of the end. 18 runs TCU has scored on LSU in 2 games. TCU hit the ball and pitched well against LSU in 2 games. LSU played their worst game of the season in game 1, Poche couldn't fight back, and LSU couldn't hit, not to mention all the unearned runs. And in this one, no arms, and not enough sticks to make up for the lack of arms. The frogs just embarrassed LSU in Omaha.
the pitching has been very good all year. well til now. as has the hitting. its just a chokefest since the sec tourney. feeling the coach's uneasiness in the new stadium is rubbing off on the players. especially pitching.
im with you. was a special group which makes it all the worse. not a lot to show for the gaudy numbers they put up on the best conference in the nation all year. CPM has to take a valium from here out if we make it back anytime soon.
